Reimagining Power: Gender, Leadership and Change
A six-session embodied learning journey for people in leadership who identify as women, transgender or non-binary to explore relationships to power.
In this group-based Learning Journey, we explore our relationship to power, the pressures to adopt dominant ways of leading, and how we envision and embody radically healthier, more collective, and more transformative ideas of leadership power.
We also examine ways our experiences of gender and gender identity intersect with other aspects of power that can show up (or not show up) in our lives and leadership – in helpful and unhelpful ways.
Aspects of power such as:
- Other social identities like race, sexual orientation, class, disability, religion and age.
- Our roles and positions, including formal leadership roles and the authority bestowed on us based on expertise and experience.
- The personal sources of power that we bring and that we develop throughout our lives.
This Learning Journey is grounded in Julie Diamond’s Power Intelligence Framework®, Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching™, Somatic Experiencing®, Social Presencing Theatre and Deep Democracy.
Every session provides participants with opportunities to integrate new learning through guided reflection, dialogue and embodiment.
